Pafford Construction is a family owned and operated business, founded by brothers Zach and Nick in 2021. As a result of over a decade of experience in the carpentry trade, Zach and Nick have extensive backgrounds ranging from crafting cabinetry and wood countertops in a small workshop to constructing full houses on the islands of Lake Winnipesaukee. Their extensive experience across various aspects of the carpentry profession now drives their commitment to delivering exceptional service to homeowners throughout the state of New Hampshire.

Zach Pafford
Co-Owner / General Manager
Born and Raised in a family of builders, Zach grew up learning the importance of working with your hands. Over the years, Zach has gained extensive knowledge of the carpentry trade and now applies what he has learned to ensure homeowners are provided with exceptional craftsmanship during their construction projects.

Nick Pafford
Co-Owner / Head of Framing Division
With over a decade in the construction industry, Nick developed the skills needed to succeed. Nick specializes in custom home framing and appreciates the small details that guarantee your home is built to last. From hand cutting intricate roof systems on site, to anything else you can image, Nick can build it!

Christian Stone
Carpenter
Christian is a New Hampshire native with a passion for custom framing and snowboarding. With a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, Christian is proud to be a part of the new generation of carpenters, blending tradition with modern techniques. Family-oriented and community-focused, Christian values both the creative process and fulfillment that comes with hands-on work.
Jake Pafford
Carpenter
Jake is our deck specialist in training. After selling his landscaping business, he joined our crew and became a valued member at Pafford Construction, where he has been for almost 3 years now. His current goal is to take the deck division to a new level, while embracing the family motto ‘too tough for you, just right for me’. In addition to being a father of 4 boys, Jake is also a Jiu Jitsu competitor and instructor and has competed and won in tournaments across the country.

Zach Sturm
Carpenter
Zach has been working with the Pafford brothers for almost 3 years now. He has honed his skills in residential construction, working to develop a keen eye and attention to detail. Zach understands how materials make a project unique, whether its a custom built home or a beautifully crafted deck, he approaches every project with creativity and precision. When he is not on the job site, Zach can be found at the golf course, skiing on the mountain, or watching the Red Sox.

Hanna Pogonowski
Marketing Manager
Hanna was one of the first employees at Pafford Construction and helped build decks and interior walls. Growing up in a blue collar family, Hanna never shied away from lending a hand on the job site. After taking a step away for a few years to learn new skills in the Life Insurance industry, she is back and ready to help take the company to new levels. You may even find her at the job site taking pictures and videos for social media. When not at work, Hanna enjoys being outside and hanging out with friends and family.
